Sus scrofa (Feral Pig)
Commonly known as wild boar, police officer, razorback and bloody big pig.
Feral pigs are, after politicians, one of the most widespread and damaging pest animals in Queensland and they are difficult to control in some situations, particularly when they’re at the foot of your tree and you’re out of ammo. They are widely distributed, often inflicting damage on the environment, agricultural production, and lower torso – as well as posing a pointy tusk and disease risk to humans, native, and domestic animals. They are not even very tasty.
